Bridging Theory and Practice: Sustainable Building Design Lecture at KKU

On January 18th, 2024, Intrinsics had the honor of visiting the School of Architecture at Khon Kaen University to deliver a guest lecture on "Sustainable Building Design in Practice."

Moving beyond the textbook, we shared real-world insights into how sustainable principles are applied in today’s construction industry. The session focused on turning environmental goals into tangible architectural solutions, covering topics such as:

• Integrated Design Process: How consultants and architects work together from day one.

• Performance Metrics: Using data to verify energy efficiency and well-being.

• Material Innovation: Practical choices that balance aesthetics with low carbon impact.

It was inspiring to engage with the next generation of Thai architects. Their passion for climate-responsive design gives us great confidence in the future of our built environment.
